Topaz is the birthstone for November
Blue Topaz is given in celebration of your 4th Wedding Anniversary
Often associated with loyalty and love, this beautiful gemstone represents eternal romance and friendship. It also symbolises honesty, clarity of feelings and deep emotional attachment.
This semi-precious gemstone is believed to promote truth and forgiveness in those who wear it. Blue Topaz can also be helpful for healing hurt feelings and calming frayed nerves as it promotes harmony and relaxation.
Blue topaz remains the most common colour whether it's naturally blue or enhanced. The topaz gemstone can come in an array of colours. Imperial Topaz is not usually treated or enhanced, coming in brown, orange or grey, however this can be heat treated during a process called 'pinking', which produces a purplish-pink colour.
Diamond is the birthstone for April
Diamonds are given in celebration of your 60th Wedding Anniversary
Traditionally, Diamonds are seen as a symbol of faithfulness, commitment and relationships filled with love. This incredible natural stone is known as a love-bearing stone that is 'dependable in its virtues when received as a gift' which is why they have been used in engagement rings since the 15th century.
Diamonds are said to bring about new beginnings as well as clarity of mind and are said to aid enlightenment, this is yet another reason as to why they are used to symbolise a new chapter in your life - whether that is the start of a marriage or anniversaries further on in the relationship.
