Diamond is the birthstone for April
Diamonds are given in celebration of your 60th Wedding Anniversary
Traditionally, Diamonds are seen as a symbol of faithfulness, commitment and relationships filled with love. This incredible natural stone is known as a love-bearing stone that is 'dependable in its virtues when received as a gift' which is why they have been used in engagement rings since the 15th century.
Diamonds are said to bring about new beginnings as well as clarity of mind and are said to aid enlightenment, this is yet another reason as to why they are used to symbolise a new chapter in your life - whether that is the start of a marriage or anniversaries further on in the relationship.
Aquamarine is the birthstone of March
Aquamarine is given in celebration of your 19th Wedding Anniversary
There is no secret that this semi-precious gemstone's water inspired name was given due to its blue tones. Aquamarine is associated with the sea and symbolises all of the feelings that the sea bares; serenity, tranquility, clarity and harmony.
Being the first of the spring birthstones, Aquamarine represents transformation and rebirth as well as embodying vitality and purity.
Energy wise, the aquamarine is ruled by the Moon and is infused with yin, feminine energy. Due to its calm flowing vibrations, it is said to clear the mind and calm the heart.
