Diamond is the birthstone for April
Diamonds are given in celebration of your 60th Wedding Anniversary
Traditionally, Diamonds are seen as a symbol of faithfulness, commitment and relationships filled with love. This incredible natural stone is known as a love-bearing stone that is 'dependable in its virtues when received as a gift' which is why they have been used in engagement rings since the 15th century.
Diamonds are said to bring about new beginnings as well as clarity of mind and are said to aid enlightenment, this is yet another reason as to why they are used to symbolise a new chapter in your life - whether that is the start of a marriage or anniversaries further on in the relationship.
Peridot is the birthstone of August
Peridot is given in celebration of your 16th Wedding Anniversary
Peridot is one of only a handful of gemstones that only comes in one true colour and in the Peridots' case that is a deep yet vibrant green that at times can show a flash of yellow. This delightful semi-precious gemstone is like a pocket of sunshine, it has been said to improve the mood and spark creativity of those who wear it - like how the sun can. By wearing Peridot all year round you can always have a slice of summer sunshine to inspire you.
The glorious green Peridot can be associated with strength and balance. It has also been said to bring peace, health and rest by harmonizing the mind and body when worn. A Peridots' green energy can activate the Heart Chakra by balancing emotions which can lead to improvements in relationships and more appropriate responses to certain situations. This will also help you understand your own needs and emotions clearly.
